By using the site you agree to these terms. By engaging us for a paid service, you also agree to the service-specific terms set out in your service agreement, which form part of these terms.

globaldotmedia.com is the marketing site for Global.Media. It describes the services we offer to authors and small businesses, publishes case studies, and accepts enquiries. The full scope, deliverables, timelines, fees, and refund policy of any paid engagement are set out in a written service agreement signed by both parties.

Each service has its own scope, fee, and deliverables. The service-page descriptions on this site are summaries; the contract you sign before work begins is the controlling document.

The Global.Media guarantee

Specific services on this site, in particular the Amazon Bestseller UK campaign, are offered with a written guarantee. The exact terms of any guarantee, including what it covers and what is required for it to apply, are set out on the relevant service page and confirmed in your service agreement. The marketing copy on this site does not replace those written terms.

Payment, refunds, and cancellation

Service fees, payment schedules, and refund eligibility are set out in the service agreement. Generally:

• Deposits are required to start work.
• Where a guarantee applies and the guaranteed outcome is not achieved, the remedy specified on the relevant service page applies (typically a re-run of the campaign, or a refund of a specified portion of the fee).
• Cancellations made after work has started are subject to the cancellation terms in your service agreement.

If anything in this section conflicts with what is in your signed service agreement, the service agreement controls.

Use of the site

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Copy or republish content (case studies, service descriptions, copy, photography) without permission.
• Attempt to interfere with or compromise the security of the site, or use automated means to scrape content beyond what robots.txt and llms.txt permit.
• Submit content via any form that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or infringes anyone else's rights.
• Misrepresent yourself or your business to gain access or services.

Intellectual property

Site content. All written content, photography, and graphic design on globaldotmedia.com is owned by Small Business eMarketing Ltd unless otherwise stated. Book covers, third-party photography, and case-study assets remain the property of their respective rights holders and are used with permission.

Client work product. When we deliver a piece of work to a client (a manuscript, a published book, marketing copy, event recordings, social media assets), ownership transfers as set out in the service agreement. By default, you own your finished book, your published assets, and the recordings of your events. Global.Media retains the right to feature the work as a case study unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Quoting and sharing. You may share short quotes (under 300 words) from the site with attribution and a link back. Reposting longer extracts or full pages requires written permission.

Links to other sites

We link to other websites we believe will be useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

No professional advice

The content on this site is published for general information. Service descriptions, case studies, and articles do not constitute financial, legal, or other professional advice. Outcomes from any service depend on factors specific to each engagement and are set out in the relevant service agreement.

Limitation of liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors or always available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Small Business eMarketing Ltd is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or business losses you suffer as a result of using the site or relying on its content.

For paid services, our total liability to you for any claim arising from a service engagement is capped at the fees you paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

Privacy

Use of the site and our services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. For active client engagements, the terms in your signed service agreement control until the engagement ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
