Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 May 2026

This privacy policy explains how Global.Media handles personal information when you visit globaldotmedia.com, fill in a form, book a discovery call, sign up to a newsletter, become a client, or otherwise communicate with us.

Who we are

Global.Media is a trading name of Small Business eMarketing Ltd, a company registered in England with company number 09392053. Founder: Eny Osung. The registered office address will be confirmed on this page after sign-off.

For data protection purposes, Small Business eMarketing Ltd is the data controller for personal information processed via this site and through our service engagements.

What we collect and why

Enquiry and discovery-call forms. When you fill in a form or book a call we collect your name, email, business name, phone number (if supplied), and the contents of your enquiry. We use this information to respond, qualify the fit, and prepare for the call. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and, where you have opted in, your consent.

Newsletter and event sign-ups. If you subscribe for content updates or register for an event we collect your name, email, and any event-specific details (such as your business or book topic). We use this to send you what you asked for and occasional follow-up content. Legal basis: consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Client engagement data. When you become a client for one of our services (book writing and publishing, Amazon bestseller campaigns, anthology publishing, LinkedIn Audio event management, social media management) we collect the information needed to deliver the service. This typically includes your name, business name, billing address, payment details (handled by our payment processor, not stored by us), book or content drafts, author biography, photography, and any other materials you supply for the engagement. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interest in delivering the service.

Case studies and proof assets. Where a client has agreed to be featured as a case study, we publish their name, photograph, business, and outcome data on the site. We only do this with explicit written consent, and we will remove the case study on request.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read, on what device, and from which country. The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Google may store this data outside the UK or European Economic Area. Legal basis: legitimate interest in improving the site.

Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs (IP, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention. Logs are deleted after a limited period.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run the business:

  • Resend for sending transactional and newsletter emails.
  • Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console) for site performance and search-traffic measurement.
  • Hetzner Online GmbH for server hosting (servers located in Germany).
  • Payment processors for taking payment from clients. (Eny will confirm which processors are in use before this page is published. Likely candidates: Stripe, GoCardless, or direct invoice via Wise / bank transfer.)
  • Amazon and KDP when delivering book-publishing services. We supply the book files; Amazon publishes them under your KDP account or, where agreed, ours.
  • LinkedIn when running events and audio rooms on your behalf.

Each of these processors has its own data protection commitments. Where data leaves the UK or European Economic Area, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiry forms and discovery-call notes are kept for up to two years so we can track ongoing conversations and refer back if a prospect re-engages.

Newsletter subscriber records are kept for as long as you remain subscribed.

Client engagement records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus six years after the last invoice, in line with UK tax and accounting record-keeping requirements.

Case study assets stay published until you ask us to remove them.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete your information (subject to records we are required to keep for tax purposes).

  • Object to processing or ask us to restrict it.
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you believe your rights have been breached.
