Case Study

Paulette Hallam

From first-time contributor to 32x #1 international bestseller and a 10,000+ engaged community. What a full-stack Global.Media partnership actually looks like.

32x

Amazon #1 international bestseller across categories and regions

4,000+

Books sold across her anthology and solo titles

10,000+

Engaged community built around her events and content

The starting point

When Paulette first came into the Global.Media orbit she had something most first-time authors have: real expertise, a story worth telling, and zero infrastructure for getting it published. No editor, no cover, no launch plan, no community beyond a personal network.

The instinct most entrepreneurs have at that point is to go solo. Hire a ghostwriter. Pay for a cover. Upload to Amazon KDP. Cross fingers. Almost none of those launches work, because there is nobody to buy on launch day and nobody to leave early reviews.

The approach

We started her with an anthology. Co-authoring with other entrepreneurs meant she got the Amazon #1 credential on her first book without having to carry the entire launch on her own back. The anthology launched to #1 in multiple Amazon categories internationally. She had her first bestseller badge.

From there we stacked. Solo titles. More anthologies. Each launch ran through our community-mobilisation playbook, which means a coordinated launch-week buying window, honest reviews from real readers, and a follow-on promotion cycle that kept books ranking past the initial push.

In parallel, we built the events arm. Paulette now leads our collaboration-and-events work, co-hosting workshops and author-speaker conferences that both grow her audience and directly sell books in the room.

What the numbers represent

  • 32x Amazon #1: category wins across multiple books and multiple Amazon regional markets (UK, US, CA, AU).
  • 4,000+ book sales: combined across her anthology appearances and solo titles. Not giveaways. Actual paid sales.
  • 10,000+ community: engaged audience across event attendees, email subscribers, and social followers built through the launch cycles and event programming.

None of these numbers happened from one launch. They compounded across multiple books, multiple events, and a deliberate long-game approach to building authority. The book is the door. The stage, the podcast, the community, and the ongoing work is what walks through it.

What this shows

Paulette's arc is the template we use with every serious author client. One credible first book. Category wins. A community that compounds. Events that convert. And eventually a body of work that opens doors no single marketing tactic ever could.

If that is the kind of arc you want, the discovery call is where it starts.
